Benny and I made the trek cross country (Oregon to Maine), to visit Grammy JuJu and Papa Jimbo this week. I pulled out all the stops on my solo date with our 2-year old... yep, the Binkie made a cameo appearance, bag o' snacks for the plane, and thank you Delta for having TV's in the seats for out Salt Lake to Boston leg!!! After much pre-flight anxiety about, "the headphones" (don't ask... he's been talking about how he "no like headphones" for weeks), he gave them a whirl and was hooked... phew!!
Georgette made the trip with us, and we were kind enough to share our cookies with her.
After two flights and a 2.5 hour drive from Boston to Maine with a stop for a mini-up-chuck from Mr. Benham (poor kid had a long day, and his tummy seemed a bit upset)- he was a little green for a stint, but then fell asleep on the drive home....
We made it! Ben has been a super-duper kid and was excellent traveling with Mommy. Thanks buddy- hope the return trip goes as well. Now, on to play time with Grammy & Papa and all of our Maine friends.
