WHAT A WEEK...

What a week for Big Ben...

Since our return from Hawaii, Benny has had quite a lot of major milestones.

I. 4-month check-up: Healthy and doing well. Vital Stats:
Weight: 14lbs (average)

Height: 26 1/4 (we've got a tall kid on our hands!)

Head: I forget... but it's average

II. Sleeping in his own room now! Ben did fine with the transition. First night was a little harder for Mommy who teared up as we read our nighttime books and settled down for the evening.

III. Eating solids food... well, more like MUSH! Ben was really ready for food. He's downing his rice cereal twice a day. He also tried sweet potatoes over Thanksgiving and gobbled those up too.

IV: Rolled over... This hasn't fully clicked yet, but the little man is working hard on his mobility and has performed a few roll overs. He LOVES to stand all the time, not so keen to be on his belly. Makes me wonder if he'll skip the crawling phase and try to stand/walk first?

V. Discovered Eppi (our cat). Ben ignored her the first few months and now has discovered just how soft and cuddly she is... a win-win for both!

We had a very nice Thanksgiving with the Schmid family and Benny got to spend a lot of fun play time with Grammy, Grumpy, Auntie Erika, and Uncle Paul... pictures of the holiday to be posted soon.
