The Schmid Gang has just returned from Benny's first trip to the islands of Hawaii and 10 days on Oahu.Benny really enjoyed being barefoot and bare chested for most of the trip (he takes right after his Dad!). He braved the waves of Diamond Head with Daddy while Mom surfed, he swam with the Bozworth/Forrest girls, hit up the North Shore/Pipeline, watched a lot of intense paddle tennis matches between Mom, Uncle Guy, and Dad, and was an all round good kid the entire trip. He offered up tons of smiles for all of our friends and family and nearly every stranger he met. Kyle and I felt very fortunate to able see no less than 25 friends and family members and introduce them to the little man.
Our good friends Jess and Thad had a beautiful wedding ceremony in Lanikai and then an amazing reception at the Royal Hawaiian in Waikiki. Kyle was a groomsmen, and we all felt honored to be a part of such a special event. Much love to the newlywed- Lairds!

HI!!! I am so glad you emailed. I want your regular email address so my confessions of a blog-picture-stealer can remain private. We loved meeting you and Ben is just precious. I am so ticked we didn't get more pix from the wedding, so I'm stealing yours for a blog post.. and linking Campbell's first dude friend's blog on mine, too ! :) Thanks for the emergency bottle usage and I'm glad the boys decided to sleep in peace and harmony. ha. yes!!
