Cabbage Patch Kids- Double Take

OK... I realize I am once again woefully behind on posts and need to get caught up from a few lingering past events (Fall trip to Sun Valley, Thanksgiving at the coast with Grammy/Grumpy, Christmas 2012, etc)- I'll get there, I promise.

But, in the meantime- I couldn't resist getting this post up as soon as possible.  My Mom and Dad sent me my Cabbage Patch Kids from when I was a wee one: I had two boys and two girls.

Just have a look at the boys, side by side with my very own boys today:  See anything notable?

This is kind of creepy... Ballard Monroe: the oldest, with straight blond hair and big blue eyes, wearing what appears to be a Seattle Seahawks uniform (which is Kyle's home team), appears an awful lot like Benny!  And wait, look at the baldy in the corner.  Newton Jacie, with his perfectly little round, bald head, blue eyes, and button nose is a little Sammy doll!  Seems my life was predestined without my consent :)

 This is too funny, Mommy... they look just like us!!

 Oops, someone sneezed or farted.  Hmmm- I'm guessing it was Porkchop or Ballard.

 Smile for the camera, Sammy.  No! Let me at 'em.

 But, Sammy wins in the end.

 Ha!!  I got his shoe!!!

 And now I'm going to devour it.

Thanks for taking care of them all these years, Grammy JuJu.  All 4 boys are very happy to be together again!
