THE SNOW FLIES AGAIN...

After a warm weather winter reprieve in late January, early February where we all had our mountain bikes out and about, we are back to full-on winter conditions in Central Oregon again. Lots of fresh snow, skiing, and indoor madness. Benny has been having loads of fun with friends, learning lots at school and on the slopes. We have had lots of visitors over the past month or so, including the Bozworth clan and Benny's new best buddies, Ayla and Teah... modern day 3 Amigos. These kids have had a blast playing and skiing.

We had a lovely dinner at Grammy & Grumpy's with the whole crew and lots of playing ensued...Grumpy was a jungle gym. And hide and seek was a big hit.

With all of the fresh snow, we have gotten out to the mountains for lots of ski time.Mommy and Daddy made their 2nd Annual trek out to ski in/out to Elk Lake Resort with a dozen other friends.Uncle Matt, Aunt Skylar, and Zuri came for another visit- and we loved seeing them. Uncle Matt, Daddy, and Grumpy met Benny and Mommy at the mountain for some turns and tips for Benny.

Benny just had his first official ski lesson and spent all day at Ski School with his friend Makena and Teah, Ayla up at Mt Bachelor while Mommy got in lots and lots of fresh powder turns (maybe too many... my old legs are tired!).

Benny has also been working on lots of crafts this winter and learning to read and write his letters, and hanging at the bookstore with Mommy.On our last visit to our local bookstore, Benny and I determined there should be a new name for the serious book consumer a "Book Goose" instead of a BookWorm. This guy is a bookstore regular.
