We ventured out on a family hike up Vista Butte last Sunday and caught some beautiful Fall weather...
Benny did great and walked nearly 2.5 of the 4 mile hike.
His handy-dandy walking stick helped quite a bit, but we did have to stop for snacks 3 times! Clearly, the main incentive for Benny to keep moving..."Oh man, I'm already hungry again. This is hard work." Us, "Buddy, we just stopped 3 minutes ago!" Good thing Mommy comes prepared.
Once we reached a good view point Benny announced, "There is Mountain Bachelor!" And yes, that is his little plumber's toosh hanging out- he thought that was hysterical!
We have been having loads of fun with Fall crafts... bats, pumpkin painting/carving, leave collages, you name it.
We have also been firing up the outside fire as the evenings have cooled. Benny's buttering up Daddy to ensure he gets the biggest marshmallow in the bag.
Patiently waiting....
Mmmm... roasted to perfection! Now, can I have another?
