Summer time SoccerTots is here...
Benny is enjoying his weekly Daddy & Benny evening and he sure is tuckered out at the end of these long days.
Here is Coach Leah asking who thinks they are faster than she is- all the kids raise their hands and Ben "shows" her that he's faster. Sigh... he listened "the second" time around.
His skills have definitely improved, and he's working on patience and listening...
It's all worth it for those super cool stamps you get at the end, right?
At dinner each night, Benny asks us, "So, what was the best part of your day?" I captured the best part of my day (above) the other evening on film. After a very looong nap, Benny came downstairs, puffy eyes and bedhead in perfect form. He cuddled with Mommy for a bit and then asked for a snack. We filled his plate with apple slices and he proceeded to sit at his little table outside in the sunshine, quietly enjoying his apples- humming while he ate. He looked so peaceful, calm, and content. I sat back and observed the little love of our lives and thought..."yep- this is the best part of my day."
