FRIENDS AND FAMILY

While in Maine, we had the chance to see a lot of friends and family.Part of the neighborhood gang (missed you Kimmy), got together and the boys had a blast! Pam and I grew up 2 doors down from one another and have been good friends since we were 3-4 years old! Our families are like surrogates to the other, and it was really great to get some time together while home.Brady and Nathan (Pam/Jon's twin boys) were really sweet and headed down to "share" their bikes with Benny. And yes, there were 2, not 3 bikes, so sharing was imperative. They did great. We had horse races, wrestling time with Jon, ring-around the rosey, and a wagon ride. Good fun- albeit too short a visit. Miss you guys!!We got to see my Aunt Carol, Uncle Peter, cousin Pete, and his two children, Makayla and Adam. Ben and his 2nd cousins were instant buddies and I think we may just have to stay at there house for a night on our next trip... loads of fun and good playmates.

It was also my 15th High School reunion while home- heck it might as well have been our Kindergarten reunion- most of us have known each other for well over 25-30 years! I caught up with dozens of old classmates and meet their families. Large group photo above... like herding helium balloons. Some things never change!
We had a HS family picnic following the reunion, and Ben made some new buddies.
We played with Addie and her twin brothers (Erin, the kids are adorable!) Sheilah and Ava, and loads of other kiddos for running, climbing, t-ball with Gubba, and lunch. Sad to leave our friends, but ready to get home to see Daddy!! We sure did miss him on this trip.
