Clearly, a little late on the Easter post, but here are highlights from the festivities....
Auntie E and Uncle Kiwi host an annual Easter Brunch followed by an egg hunt and big group mountain bike ride. Being Ben's inaugural year for egg hunting, we knew we better practice up. After warming his arm up throwing his coveted ping-pong balls...
We dyed eggs at home (Ben really wanted to eat them- we passed on the dyed orb consumption this time)
Ben really enjoyed and truly was a good helper with the process (a good lesson in some much needed patience)
Then, after Mommy hid the eggs, we had our trial run
Ben and his tag-along-buddy sniffed out all the eggs in record time
Next, on to the big show at Auntie E and Uncle Paul's house (the boy cleaned up!! Thanks for all of the yummy treats, Auntie and Uncle :)
Grammy and her Schmid Kids
Thanks for the egg hunting assistance Grammy & Grumpy. Happy Easter 2009!

I just can't get over how much more...tamed :) he seems than Creux! Creux just has that whole bull-in-a-china-shop thing going on and he's driving the entire family NUTS! Your wee Benny seems so Zen :)
Maybe it's a first child thing? My Chas was that way, too. Now, by the fourth, they've successively become further and further unglued. God help Baby Number Five if there should ever be one (and there probably shall be at some point but am not crazy like a wolf just yet).
Hope you guys had a nice Easter! Ours was terrificly low-key and uneventful. Perfect in light of all the recent drama. We're off for a vacay here in 10 days! Whoo-hoo!
Happy Spring to you all! Is it there yet in Bend? Ohio's been flirting with it off and on all month--it's been cold and rainy here all week so far but I think "spring" is officially knocking on our door. FINALLY!!
